Overview of Our Coffee

WHAT MAKES OUR COFFEE SO GOOD?


There are many factors that are required to create a world-class specialty coffee. While our careful production process ensures a perfect coffee, it all begins with the cultivating of the perfect cherry.

ABOUT HAWAIIAN COFFEE

Our climate and conditions create a low-acidity coffee that's ranked among the best in the world. All of our coffee is 100% island grown, unlike many Hawaiian roasters who offer blends containing only 10% island coffee.

KONA COFFEE AND THE RISE OF KA'U COFFEE

For decades on our island, the Kona region has set the standards for fine coffee worldwide with its farmers cooperative of about 600 small independent growers.

Island MapBuilding upon Kona's success is the emerging Ka'u Coffee region, which lies south of Kona region on the slope of Mauna Loa. Ka'u has arguably better growing conditions due in part to the rich soil left over from decades of Sugar Cane production. Ka'u is a new and exciting frontier for both growers and drinkers alike, with recent world-class cupping contests consistently placing Ka’u Coffees over Kona entries.
